Robin Givhan
DeNeen Brown
TO THE NATION’S CAPITAL: Robin Givhan, staff writer at The Washington Post, will be moving to Washington to cover Michelle Obama, the First Family and the assorted cultural and social issues that surround them. Givhan, who currently is based in New York, told WWD she’ll continue to write a weekly column that will focus on fashion but that could include anything from a designer, the shows or a “politician looking especially appalling.” Givhan is taking over for DeNeen Brown, who will now focus on stories about people “on the edge,” such as the poor, the uneducated, the disenfranchised and “race in the age of Obama.” — Amy Wicks, WWD
ZOEtee’s Loves Gwyneth
Gwyneth Paltrow to design her own collection for autumn/winter 09. Gwyneth Paltrow has collaborated on the designs for a capsule collection - ZOEtee's Loves Gwyneth - with the French label ZOEtee's, famous for super-soft jerseywear and versatile separates.
Made up of jersey basics as well as some glam, 1970s inspired looks and pieces influenced by masculine tailoring, the collection will be unveiled to the fashion press next week in London. With Gwyneth's fashion credentials we're expecting a luxe, sophisticated yet very wearable collection of instant hits. We're hoping she might have even asked her pal Stella McCartney for a few design tips. The line is still very much still under wraps, but we can tell you that the proceeds from every piece sold will be donated to a charity close to Gwyneth's heart - London's Kids Company. Fashion with a conscience - just what we would expect from Gwyneth. -ELLE

Lauren Bush, W.'s Niece, Debuts Fashion Label Under Different Name
Lauren Bush's new fashion line hits Barneys today...under the name Lauren Pierce. The niece of former President Bush has previously denied that the change has anything to do with her family legacy. As she told W in a November interview: "It wasn't a conscious decision....Obviously my last name is associated with politics," Bush continues. "But Pierce is my grandmother's maiden name and my younger brother's name. It's not about downplaying my last name as much as it is about loving Pierce. And my brother and Mildred are very flattered." - -The Puffington Huff

KRISTY HINZE WEDS JIM CLARK
AUSSIE supermodel Kristy Hinze, 28, tied the knot with billionaire Netscape founder Jim Clark, 65, over the weekend. The two "wanted a quiet location with no press," a pal said, so they picked the Rosewood Little Dix Bay resort on Virgin Gorda across from Richard Branson's Necker Island. Guests like Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts were ferried between the two resorts and Jimmy Buffett performed at the reception. The newlyweds stayed on Clark's Athena, the high-tech, 289-foot three-masted schooner that's the largest private sailing yacht in the world. - NY Post PAGE SIX

MODELING legend Carmen Dell'Orefice (above) is going back to work at age 77. The icon, who just spilled the story of her 12-year marriage to late real-estate magnate Norman Levy in Vanity Fair, lost her entire life savings to Levy's confidant, Bernie Madoff, in December. Now luxury marketing firm AgencySacks is giving Dell'Orefice a chance at a comeback. One source told us the agency contracted photographer Roxanne Lowit to shoot the still stunning mannequin in an ad campaign for the Pierre Hotel. -NY Post, PAGE SIX
