CONRAN MEETS THE QUEEN
JASPER CONRAN will be receiving one of the highest accolades of his career when he collects his OBE from Buckingham Palace.
The 48-year-old son of designer Sir Terence Conran launched his first womenswear collection in 1978, and his business now includes homeware, fragrance and jewellery lines as well as menswear and children's wear labels. Having also been won the coveted title of Designer of the Year by the British Fashion Council, the OBE will be the cherry on top for Conran when he receives the accolade later this year.
