Richard Johnson - PAGE SIX - June 12, 2008 -- THE great fashion artist Kenneth Paul Block has inspired many designers who witnessed him working the shows - talents like Yves St. Laurent, who wrote the foreword to the new book, "Drawing Fashion: The Art of Kenneth Paul Block," and Isaac Mizrahi, who penned its introduction. Now, Block is also attracting attention from designers who've come to prominence since he retired in the 1990s. In recent weeks, Phillip Lim, Peter Som, and Trina Turk have all ordered copies of "Drawing Fashion" with a text by Susan Mulcahy.
