Roberto Cavalli is known for his wild print and patterns and his funky flare to fashion. Roberto caused some scandal back in the day when he showed his first collection in Italy. “On the catwalk were models wearing patchwork on denim, a fabric snubbed by the straight-laced Florentines and to this day preferred by working men and cowboys.” (Biography). “For 20 years Cavalli has been making sexy garments which have been very successful in Italy and other European countries. His Spring 2002 collection, shown in Milan, covered a long catwalk with stripes and roses, mixed up with his usual wild animal prints, slashed, decomposed and embroidered endlessly” (Roberto). “Over the years Roberto Cavalli has expanded and as well as his Womenswear collection, new lines have been launched: Menswear, Just Cavalli (a line for youngsters), Underwear, Class (a knitwear collection), Freedom (the casual line), Eyewear, Timewear, Angels (a line for children from 4 to 14) and most recently, Homewear” (Biography).
