Spring 06 shows he uses models of all ages sometimes. BTW that granny is HOTTTT

Nice if I had a boyfriend this thin

From the fall 07 collection. I love how he ties in different shades of red in the entire look.

This is cute, I love the Pants

The necklace can go but the dress can stay
I like the color scheme
This is very pretty it reminds me of easter.

South African Designer Gavin Rajah

"His work is fluid, ultra feminine and most of all has dramatic silhouette. Gavin uses draping extensively in his work and favours bias cut garments with interesting lines.

His work is unashamedly opulent and he remains enamoured with luxurious fabrics and finishes. The Rajah woman is not a wallflower but a confident and assertive woman who exudes her femininity with astute grace. Most of all she loves to exceed expectation.."

For this season Rajah was using mostly black, white, browns, and greens.

I really love this black and white number. I don't usually like things that are asymetrical but I think he pulls this off very well.

This I just thought was a very slinky, sexy number. :-)

I really liked the cut of this dress and details and the sleeves, but I'm not crazy about this particular shade of green.

I LOVED this dress. Everything about it, the black and white with the veritcal stripes going down the bodice, and the cute green ribbon accenting the empire waist. And even the mermaid/ bell shaped bottom of the dress. Love it!

I really liked the whimsical feel to this dress and the sheerness in some parts. This shade of green I also like much better then the other green dress.

I don't know if you can tell in this picture, but those are actually white feathers near her face and she even has on some sort of headdress. I think it's really a beautiful gown and I think the feathers are a neat idea.

Sexy business look. I love how the brown belt is like wrapped around her waist several times.

Cement Wonderland, A look @ Rodarte (Carl W.)

So everyone dreams of going to NY with the hope of being the next big thing to happen to American fashion....of course, this never happens....or does it? Take a look at Kate and Laura Mulleavy, designers of Rodarte and still living with their parents. Quite a stretch from the home-sewers dream of fame and fortune

Above is their 2007 Fall show, presented in the New York tents. These looks hold that whimsy, soft and slightly sensual look that is highly detailed and proudly displayed. Below are just some of the looks that were in the show; looks I personally adore!

This slimming dress is soft and sexy and even maintains its fem-fab in a neutral green.

Above is a golden glory beautifully embelished with the technical details that bring it just shy of Haute Coutre.

And like any finale done right, the dress above is as delicate as delicate gets. the Asymmetry and the organic shapes keep this dress from being "jus another dress." It floats freely, yet has enough structure and modernism to stand alone on a red carpet.

Maybe if I had an extra $4,960 laying around...

Bottega Veneta hangbag.

I really have no idea what this could possibly be made out of that would result in this bag being $5,000. Maybe if it had $4,960 worth of gold doubloons inside of it, I'd consider the purchase. But as it stands I find this a really cute handbag for double what I paid for my car.

CHEAP MONDAY by Lindsey Gozdick

Cheap Monday is Known for perfecting the skinny jean with thier low priced high fashion 80's styles.

This Swedish brand started out as a second hand store called Weekend because they were only open on Saterdays and Sundays.

Check out the creepy face in the mirror!

Cheap Monday's jeans were boycotted by several buyers because the upside down cross on the skull logo is supposed to have anti religous meaning behind it.

The styling and photography on their website cataloge is amazing, check it out at Cheapmonday.com.

Whitney's Blog on Saab

This is the most memorable Oscar dress to me and Halle looked gorgeous.
This dress reminds me of the ocean. It's very flowy and the color is pretty.
I like the gold part of the dress and Karolina Kurkova is one of my favorite models.
This dress is sexy. I picture Beyonce when I see this dress.

This dress is super pretty.

Giuliana Teso

So she was very difficult to find information on. I mean, biography wise that is. I like her new line she has out for winter except that it's real fur she uses. If it were faux fur I'd be okay with it.

She used mostly just blacks and greys mixed with some browns and tan furs.

I like how this one looks at first like a typical business skirt suit but the skirt is actually fur.

I thought the fur bolero thing was cute on this one. Most of these pieces were made for either business outfits or evening wear.

I liked how this one has the fur trim at the bottom. It gives the dress a little extra something.

I just really liked this jacket.

This was a very unique idea I thought to just make the sleeves out of fur.

This one looks pretty the garment itself, but on the model it just hides her curves too much and makes her look just straight up and down like a boy.

Imitation of Christ

This picture was the last thing I thought I would see when I typed Imitation of Christ into google images. Maybe because the name reminds me of a Michaelangelo painting I studied in High School or the fact that I went into it thinking I was going to get that gothic style which I dislike so much. But I was genuinely surprised to see Bad Sandy as portrayed by Scarlet Johansson. Tell me about it, stud.

It turns out that Imitation of Christ is actually something I really like: vintage looks modernized. Whoda' thunk it?
